IF Wedding Fashion İzmir – Bridal, Groom and Evening Wear Fair is preparing to open its doors for the 17th time at fuarizmir on November 21–24, 2023. With strong interest from the industry, its business agreements, fashion- and design-shaping events, and runway shows featuring renowned names, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir will continue to be the global gateway for the bridal, groom and evening wear sectors.
Held in İzmir, the capital of fashion and bridal wear, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir, one of Europe’s largest fashion fairs, is being organized for the 17th time this year. The fair will host 228 exhibitors from Türkiye and 7 countries, representing product groups including evening wear, bridal gowns, groom wear, accessories and children’s wear. Last year, the fair welcomed a total of 25,027 professional visitors from Türkiye and 98 countries. Growing stronger each year, the fair will once again bring together industry representatives and leading figures in İzmir.
Hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and organized by İZFAŞ in partnership with the Aegean Clothing Manufacturers Association (EGSD), IF Wedding Fashion İzmir continues to expand every year due to strong interest from industry stakeholders. The fair will keep contributing to the sector’s growth and exports. Showcasing the importance of design in presenting İzmir’s innovative and modern face to the world, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir continues to strengthen the industry day by day as a key meeting point for fashion leaders. Domestic and international buyer delegation programs will also be organized during the fair.
IF Wedding Fashion İzmir will open its doors with 228 exhibitors operating in evening wear, bridal wear, groom wear, accessories and children’s wear product groups from 11 cities in Türkiye and 7 countries, including Germany, Hong Kong, Iran, Kosovo, Lebanon and North Macedonia. In addition to thousands of domestic professional visitors, the fair is expected to host nearly 5,000 international visitors from over 100 countries worldwide.
Bringing together fashion and design, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir will continue to offer opportunities to leading industry professionals for the 17th time. At the fair, 2024 collections will be showcased for the first time, and the event will dazzle with glamorous runways featuring designs by famous brands and emerging talents, accompanied by renowned models. Numerous fashion shows will be held throughout the fair. Designers participating in the fair will exhibit their bridal and evening wear collections in a specially designated area. The “Performance Fashion Show” by Enes Yolcu, winner of last year’s Bridal Gown Design Competition, will also be presented to designers, exhibitors and visitors.
At the 14th Bridal Gown Design Competition, held as part of the fair, the winners among the 15 finalists will be announced during the Akış opening fashion show. In addition to stepping confidently into the industry, the winners will receive special awards.
