One of Europe’s largest fashion fairs, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir – Bridal, Groom and Evening Wear Fair, is preparing to open its doors for the 18th time. Growing steadily each year, the fair will welcome industry representatives and leading figures in İzmir between November 19–22. World-renowned fashion designer Randy Fenoli will also take part in the fair with his designs and as a jury member.
Hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and organized by İZFAŞ in partnership with the Aegean Clothing Manufacturers Association (EGSD), IF Wedding Fashion İzmir – Bridal, Groom and Evening Wear Fair is set to open its doors for the 18th time on November 19 in İzmir, the capital of fashion and bridal wear. Once again, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir will serve as a key meeting point for fashion leaders. The fair will feature evening wear, bridal gowns, groom wear, accessories and children’s wear, welcoming professional visitors from many countries ranging from Germany to Italy, Sweden to the United States, the United Arab Emirates to Russia and the Turkic republics. Hosting colorful runway shows showcasing 2025 fashion trends, with designs by renowned brands and emerging talents, the fair will also make a significant contribution to the sector and exports through business cooperation agreements.
World-famous fashion designer Randy Fenoli, producer and host of the popular American reality show “Say Yes to the Dress,” which is also broadcast in Türkiye, will take part in IF Wedding Fashion İzmir both with his designs and as an honorary jury member of the 15th Bridal Gown Design Competition held within the scope of the fair.
Held in İzmir where 70% of Türkiye’s bridal and evening wear exports are generated the fair will further strengthen the city’s influential position in the sector while enhancing its international competitiveness. Within the scope of IF Wedding Fashion İzmir, which shapes global fashion trends, the winners of the 15th Bridal Gown Design Competition will be announced during the opening fashion show. In the competition themed “Return to the Roots,” award-winning designers will not only take confident steps into the industry but will also receive special prizes.
The first-place designer will receive TRY 75,000 and earn the right to stage a Performance Fashion Show at IF Wedding Fashion İzmir 2025. The second-place designer will receive TRY 50,000, while the third-place designer will be awarded TRY 25,000. Additionally, the “Persephone” Performance Fashion Show by Sercan İzci, winner of last year’s competition, will be presented to designers, exhibitors and visitors.
